The host is Zainab, a caring and kind teacher of the Quran. Then there are the two cute puppets named Hadi (boy) and Huda (girl), Zainab’s cousins. This free app that contains ads also teaches the memorization of the Quran to kids. Like the previous app, it teaches Surah Fatiha. Unlike the previous app, it teaches the memorization of the last hizb of the Quran, for a total of 29 surahs. The reciter used is a person named Sheikh Hesham Elgamal. The main feature of this app, the recitation of the Quran and its repetition, works offline. You have the option to have each whole verse recited or word-by-word. #4 Kids Qaida Series 2019

Unlike the two previous apps that teach memorization of the Quran, this free app teaches the basics of reading the Quran. When you tap on the “Qurani Qaida” icon, it takes you to the lessons. Each lesson shows different elements for learning the Quran, such as the alphabet, the short and long vowels, and tanween. The biggest problem with the voice they use is the non-Arabic and non-native accent of the speaker. It seems that she has a South-East Asian accent. Many of the letters are mispronounced. The app’s overall design is simple yet colorful and gets the job done, but it could be better. To download this app, click here.
